Before, during and after an outpatient procedure our CAREGivers can help reduce the anxiety of interrupted daily routines and provide reassurance and comfort. Before leaving home for a procedure,
the CAREGiver can assist with bathing, dressing and meal preparation. They can also assist the client in any pre-operative instructions or procedures (such as drinking water, or fasting), and then
be responsible for the timely arrival at the doctor's office or outpatient facility.
During the procedure, our CAREGiver can provide companionship and reassurance. Or, if the client prefers, we can return to their home to help with laundry, errands or meal services.
After the procedure, our CAREGivers continue to provide companionship and on-site or in-home help, such as reminding the client to follow doctor's orders and post-op instructions.
When the client returns home, our CAREGiver cam see that they are comfortable and relaxed, and even provide helpful medication reminders. If needed, the CAREGiver can also go to the pharmacy and
pick-up any required prescriptions. And, the CAREGiver can help the client schedule any follow-up visits.
